Project Description
This is the first project that we were assigned. In this project we were required to do a drawing of 4 or more objects existing in a space. This drawing is suppose to show depth and nothing should be grounded.
The items I chose for this project was; cup, cake, snake, sun hats, chess pieces.
When I chose my items to draw, I decided that I wanted the snake to be a very important part of the piece. I wanted to have it wrap around the entire paper adding more depth to it. I chose the sun hats to fill in the space. The cup and the chess pieces were placed there to add more value to the piece all together
Reflection
I’m quite disappointed that I didn’t add more to this piece. I wish I had used a lot darker marks so that I could bring out a stronger value in the chess piece and I wish that I had added some more value to the snake. I do love the placement of the snake in comparison to the cake. It makes it look like its the smoke of the candle. Overall I enjoyed the process of this project and it helped me understand depth a lot more.
