Project Description
In this project, we were assigned three different 3D art forms; cardboard, wire, and clay. We were tasked to put all three of these materials together to make a dynamic piece.
Going into this project I wasn’t too sure what I was planning on doing. One common idea I came up with was the use of the wire as a way to hold up the piece and make it more dynamic. I also liked the idea of adding a lot of geometric shapes into the mix aswell.
Reflection
I do believe I was able to accomplish creating a dynamic piece. Looking back at the project as a whole, I do wish that I made the main component and primary focus of my piece the wire. I think the material could be used to frame the other two materials and create a sort of suspended looking piece. I also wish that I went in with more clay maybe in smaller pieces and shapes.
